Provides services for children with special health-care needs and their families and promotes family-centered, community-based, coordinated services and systems of health care.
Who is eligible for services?
A child or youth who: - has or may have a disability or chronic health condition;
- is a North Dakota resident; and
- is birth to 21 years of age.
CSHS can help pay for health-care visits and tests needed to diagnose many chronic health conditions seen in children. They can also help pay for specialty care that is needed to treat an eligible condition. Families must meet medical and financial eligibility guidelines.
